Wheelchair Access Ramps‎

Someone recently asked me what the difference is between a Wheelchair Access Ramps‎ and a scooter ramp.

The main difference isn’t really in the ramps but the difference between wheelchairs and scooters.

Scooters are generally heavier, scooters have longer wheelbases and scooters tend to have little tipping wheels on the back.

Although we tend to call all our ramps Wheelchair Access Ramps‎ they can also ne used for scooters provided they are not too steep that the long wheelbase causes a problem, not too steep that it is difficult to drive a scooter up, and not to steep that the tipper wheels catch on the floor when first driving up the ramp
