Induction Loops.

Induction loop systems (or to give them their full name: Audio Frequency Induction Loop Systems - AFILS) are used to assist the hearing impaired by transmitting amplified sound, i.e., music, speech, etc, to hearing aids fitted with a telecoil. (NHS and most other third party hearing aids are fitted with telecoils.) Demand for AFILS is increasing due to new legislation aimed at preventing discrimination against disabled people.
KTP Microloop Portable induction loop system
The KTP Microloop is a specially designed low power induction loops system to aid the hard of hearing. Independent research has shown that the use of induction loops makes conversations with hearing aid wearers (whether customers or staff) easier and more relaxed. As around 1 in 7 of your customers or staff will have some form of hearing disability, it is now a requirement for all "service providers" to provide this facility under the Disability Discrimination Act.
